The (mis)adventures Malfred goes through are so fun. You can’t help but wonder what messes they will end up in and it’s a pleasure to read them. It was nice to see characters from the first book in this one as well as new, exciting ones.
The main character has matured from the first book, but in a lot of ways he’s still the fool he was before. Power’s Play by Eva Sandor is a fast-paced, enjoyable and humorous story.
